Dutch Full Force Folk merchants Bunch of Bastards are back with First Name Basis with the Reaper, a six-track EP of brand-new originals and their third release, following 2016’s My Drinkin’ Ain’t Done and 2023’s Drink, Holler and Dance.

The Den Haag/Rotterdam crew launched it with a release show at De Zwarte Ruiter in Den Haag on June 13th, and it’s out now on Spotify. Jasper’s half-Irish vocals lead the charge, backed by Andries on accordion, Gosse on banjo, mandolin, guitar and tin whistle, Sebastiaan on guitars, Dex on bass and John on percussion.

The tracks: “First Name Basis with the Reaper,” “Random Street,” “Without the Likes of You,” “Not Gonna Sleep Tonight,” “Drinking Songs” and “Permanent Bruise.” Fans of The Pogues, Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys, form an orderly queue at the bar.
