Two boozy bands, one January. Sydney’s Celtic punk road dogs The Cloverhearts are back in Japan for their first visit in two years, and they’re bringing Japan’s own Celtic punk veterans The Cherry Coke$ along for a three-night run.

Dates: January 11 at Shibuya THE GAME, January 13 at Nagoya HOLIDAY NEXT and January 14 at Osaka PANGEA. Doors 5:30pm, music from 6pm, tickets ¥4,500 plus a drink. It sits right next to The Cloverhearts’ previously announced Thick Festival slot in Kawasaki on January 10.

The Cherry Coke$ aren’t sitting still either. On October 19 the band started recording their 11th studio album, with progress updates promised on their socials. Before the tour, their annual Year End Party hits Shibuya THE GAME on December 27 with guests REAL SHIT, plus a bingo contest with prizes. Last gig of the year. Make it count.
