Enter the Haggis said goodbye in 2025, and now the goodbye is on every streaming service. Exit the Haggis, the Canadian Celtic rockers’ live double album, landed on Spotify and Apple Music on October 1: 27 tracks and two hours of music, recorded over two sold-out farewell nights in Troy, New York.
The set spans three decades of Haggis anthems, from “To the Quick” and “Gasoline” to “Another Round”, “One Last Drink” and “The Litter and the Leaves”. Former drummer James Campbell sits in on percussion, as does Rob Barraco, father of the band’s Tom and a veteran of The Dead and Phil Lesh’s band.
Retirement isn’t airtight, either. The Haggis are on the Saturday bill at the Sherwood Celtic Yuletide Festival in McDade, Texas, on December 12, alongside Blaggards, Haggis X-1 and House of Hamill. Pipes up, Haggis Heads.
