Ireland’s first punk band are calling time, and they’re doing it back in the room where they once opened for The Pogues. Pete Holidai says The Radiators From Space’s special-guest slot with Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter at Dublin’s 3Arena on Monday, December 7, will be the last time he and Steve Rapid ever perform under the name.

“A fine bookend to fifty years of trying to remain an obscure but vital, proud to be Irish, Punk band,” Holidai posted, adding that rehearsals were starting and “There WILL be merch!!”

It’s a fitting full stop fifty years on from Television Screen, for the band that gave us Ghostown, The Faithful Departed and Philip Chevron. Dublin opens the Pistols’ Anarchy In The U.K. and Ireland tour, and tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster.
