Limerick brothers Tom and Cian O’Dowd — The Guzzlers — put their debut out today. Drinking The Dream lands on Campus Label: ten tracks cut live and entirely acoustic, the first ten songs they ever wrote together.

Ferry shanty “20 Pints To Cherbourg” kicks it off; “A Pint Of Plain Is Your Only Man” tips the stout; “Grief” and the title track dig into the harder stuff Irish music never ducks. They left Limerick for Liverpool last summer, busked into the Jacaranda and the Cavern, and now hold a residency at Anfield. December puts them on three dates with The Highstool Prophets.
