The Pogues are booked for back-to-back German punk festivals next July. Ruhrpott Rodeo put them at the top of its first 19-band announcement for 2027 on October 16, and Nuremberg’s Save the Core added them the same day in its third wave.
Ruhrpott Rodeo turns 20 next year and runs July 2–4 at the Schwarze Heide airfield in Hünxe/Bottrop. The Pogues share the poster with Danger Dan, WIZO, Millencolin, Hatebreed, The Adicts, The Exploited, GBH, Discharge and Rumkicks. Germany’s biggest punk festival has sold out two years running at 12,000 punters, and the organisers say presales have never been faster.
Save the Core follows on July 3 at Stadionpark Nürnberg, a one-day punk and hardcore bash with Millencolin, Rich Kids on LSD, Talco, Blood for Blood and Dave Hause & The Mermaid.
