Fiddler’s Green have unveiled the line-up for the 16th Shamrock Castle, their own Celtic and new folk festival in the grounds of Schloss Jägersburg in Franconia’s Fränkische Schweiz, on July 9 and 10, 2027. The Erlangen speedfolk lifers headline, with London folk-punk shouters Skinny Lister right behind them.
Also on the bill: The Trouble Notes, French Celtic punks The Manky Melters, Redwood, In Search Of A Rose, Sassenach and The Neckbellies, with O’Malley holding down the beer garden stage. Pre-sale tickets are €88 plus fees from the band’s Shepherd’s Jumble shop (exclusive hard tickets), Concertbüro Franken and Eventim, and under-12s get in free. Camping is in the castle park and the Murphy’s will be flowing.
Before that, the Fiddlers mark 20 years of Drive Me Mad! with a German tour next spring.
