Yorkshire flat cap banjo punks Shanghai Treason have finally put a name and a date on the next one. Faultlines, their fourth studio album, lands February 19, 2027, and pre-orders are open now on Bandcamp.

The band promise “10(+) brand new Shanghai Treason songs,” including this year’s singles Scallywag, Ring True and Small Town Hero. It comes on digipack CD and vinyl, with pre-order bundles packing a limited Faultlines T-shirt (that cracked, gold-lined bull’s head) and a sew-on patch.

Release day finds them at Anarchy Brew Co in Newcastle, with dates through Huddersfield, Nottingham, Stowmarket, Glasgow, London’s Black Heart and York before Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange on April 17. Can’t wait that long? They’re at the Boiler Shop, Newcastle, on November 7.
