Mike McColgan is booked twice for Rebellion 2027. The punk festival takes over Blackpool’s Winter Gardens from August 5 to 8 next year, and its official line-up now lists both Street Dogs and Michael McColgan’s Bomb Squad.

McColgan sang on Dropkick Murphys’ 1998 debut, Do or Die, before leaving to join the Boston Fire Department and later starting Street Dogs. His Bomb Squad spent July touring Europe playing that album in full, and have been putting out singles this year: “Blue Eyed Son”, “Working Man Survive” and a take on Warren Zevon’s “Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner”.

Also booked so far: Stoke’s Headsticks, Sydney Celtic punks The Cloverhearts, The Undertones, and UK Subs for their last ever Rebellion show. Rebellion sold out in February this year, so don’t hang about.
