Eight years is a long stretch between pints, but Muirsheen Durkin & Friends are back with Bunch Of Bastards, and the Arnsberg crew haven’t softened a bit. Same no-frills Teutonic Celtic punk that made 11 Pints & 3 Shots (2018) such a stomper — pipes up front, Mac Rünker’s sandpaper bark on the mic, and songs built for sticky floors and flying elbows.

Denmark’s Stöj Snak are back with Gravity, a four-track EP landing November 28 on TNSrecords and 5FeetUnder Records. After a few years on pause, frontman Niels Højgaard Sørensen kept writing — mellow ballads one minute, angry-at-the-world ragers the next — and decided the band could be whatever they want it to be.

The Mahones: Signed Shane MacGowan Tribute CDs On Sale Friday
The Mahones have signed copies of their new Shane MacGowan tribute CD, The Mahones Sing The Songs Of Shane MacGowan, on sale this Friday, November 6, on Whiskey Devil Records, with pre-orders sent out first. Finny McConnell’s twelve-track salute runs from “If I Should Fall From Grace With God” and “The Old Main Drag” to “A Rainy Night In Soho” and “A Fairytale Of New York”, with Kevin Hearn on piano and Paige Turner and Pat Downie on vocals. The band play the songs at acoustic shows in Weinheim (December 3) and Husum (December 12). Not to be confused with the all-star 20th Century Paddy tribute, which lands November 13.
